Once upon a time, there were two young women. Both were beautiful, but had experienced the effects of being broken. However, like brokenness in its Truest sense, they were actually whole. Anyone who has Truly known brokenness knows that. So these two women, one a bit more strong-willed and stubborn, the other a bit more level-headed and rational, developed a friendship initially conceived by the gentle urge of others in a womb of skepticism. Both had doubts about the safety and integrity of the other. You see, both women had been previously burned. It seems a bit odd now, their unique bond, growing beyond that of a friendship into a kinship where raw vulnerability and emotion stripped of facade were safe. They have loved and are loved, and now both women can say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that beauty truly comes from broken pieces.
